How to use
How to use
DynaMist™ is easy to use, just follow the simple steps explained below:
If possible spray the tips of the mother plant with DynaMist once or twice in the two weeks before taking cuttings.
- Take plant cuttings by making a clean diagonal cut just below the leaf node.
- Dip cutting into DynaMist and immediately insert cutting into your rooting medium of choice.
- Spray new cuttings with DynaMist and place them into a propagator.
- After 2 – 3 days mist the cuttings again.
- Repeat misting every two days, or whenever cuttings look dry.

Tips & Tricks
- Lateral shoots from the current year’s growth are usually the most reliable and are best taken at a node or joint, or at the base of a shoot, and with the lower leaves removed.
- Suitable rooting media include: Sand & Sand, Peat & sand, Peat & Loam
- Gentle bottom heat in the rooting medium will improve and hasten the effect of the rooting hormone if the plants are naturally dormant or the growth is slow.
- It’s recommended to preferably utilise a mixture of peat and sand, that has been be well-drained. Keep the medium moist, but please note not to over water the medium. Keep the cuttings away from full sunlight. Should there be no shade, use a piece of shade netting.
